FluentMe Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how the FluentMe service (“Service”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects information about users (“you”, “User”) when you use our website.
We value your privacy and aim to be as transparent as possible about how we process personal data.
We process data you provide directly to us as well as data collected automatically.
2.1. Account data:
- Your name or display name;
- Email address (used for authentication and communication; we do not disclose student and teacher email addresses to each other);
- Password (stored in encrypted form; we cannot access it);
- Your role in the system (Teacher, Student, Administrator).
2.2. Learning content and AI interaction:
- Text messages in chats with teachers;
- Exercise answers and audio recordings (where applicable);
- Course history and learning progress.
Important: Text you enter in AI-based trainers may be sent to external AI providers (for example, OpenAI or Google) in a de-identified form to generate responses and assess knowledge.
2.3. Technical data:
- IP address and device type;
- Browser type and version;
- Cookie data and similar tracking technologies.
We use your data solely to:
- Provide the service: Registration, authentication, and access to platform features.
- Support learning: Deliver lessons, track progress, and run AI-assisted features.
- Communicate with you: Respond to support requests and notify you of updates or important changes.
- Analytics: Improve the interface and features using aggregated, de-identified usage data.
- Security: Prevent fraud and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
We do not sell your data. Sharing may occur only as follows:
- AI providers: To power exercise generation we send text prompts to external APIs. Personal data such as email or name is not shared with those services.
- Payment processors: If you pay for the Service, card data is handled by a certified payment gateway. We do not store your full card details.
- Analytics: Google Analytics.
- Legal requirements: Where required by law and upon a lawful request from authorities.
We use cookies to keep you signed in (so you do not have to log in every time) and to collect statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may then not work correctly.

Retention: We keep your data while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the Service.
Security: We use SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and industry-standard measures on our servers. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

- Restrict processing or object to processing;
